Part of the Roc group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Illetas Club Playa has a prime sea front location overlooking a small beach in the exclusive resort of Illetas on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 14km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1960 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1998, the modern low rise Hotel Illetas Club Playa has a total of 110 guest rooms, including 52 twin rooms and a further 58 one bedroom apartments, all of which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 400m² of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week. Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. For business guests, the Hotel Illetas Club Playa also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 90 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's pool, and spacious sun terraces overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, as well as a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi.
