The complex is approximately 65km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 300 metres from both the Sa Coma resort centre with its selection of bars, restaurants and cafes, and the wide sandy resort beach. Fully renovated during the winter of 1996, the modern Paraiso Apartments complex has a total of 75 one-bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats that are built over 8 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces. All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a kitchenette equipped with 2 electric cooking rings‚ microwave oven and fridge, lounge with additional sofa beds, as well as a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either sea or pool and garden views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week. Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a luggage room, laundry service, public internet terminals, games room, air conditioned buffet style restaurant serving a choice of international and local cuisine, and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. The Paraiso Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
