The Ferrer Janeiro Hotel, part of the Ferrer group of hotels, is situated around 80 metres from the beach in the quiet residential Son Baulo district of the popular resort of Ca’n Picafort on the north coast of Mallorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport and 1km east of the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2003, the modern Ferrer Janeiro Hotel has a total of 211 guest rooms, including 190 twin rooms and a further 21 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air-conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en-suite bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24-hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air-conditioned buffet-style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children’s splash pool and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Ferrer Janeiro Hotel also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children’s mini-disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
