The family owned Hostal Residentia Eolo is a 2 star hotel that is situated on the Plaza Ingeniero Gabriel Roca at the centre of the exclusive resort of Puerto Pollensa on the north west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 20 metres from both the wide sandy resort beach and picturesque Puerto Pollensa marina. Built in 1958 and fully renovated during the winter of 1993 at which time it was awarded the prestigious "Establecimientos Modernizados" award in recognition of its continued improvement of facilities and services, the Hotel Eolo has a total of 50 guest rooms including 40 double rooms and 10 singles that are spread over 4 floors. In total eight of the guest rooms at the hotel are air conditioned and all are centrally heated according to the season. All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have sea views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a luggage room, television lounge and restaurant-pizzeria which serves dishes based on the Mediterranean diet, mixing Italian cuisine with the peculiarity of Mallorcan food.
