The Inturotel Cala Azul Park Aparthotel, part of the Inturotel group of hotels, is situated overlooking the sandy Cala Esmeralda beach in the popular resort of Cala d’Or on the southern east coast of Mallorca. The hotel is approximately 60km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport and around 900 metres from the picturesque Cala d’Or marina and pedestrianised centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Built in 1987 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2004, the modern low-rise Inturotel Cala Azul Park Aparthotel has a total of 245 guest rooms, including 227 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 18 studio flats, which are distributed between 7 three-storey accommodation blocks and set amidst almost 20,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air-conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open-plan kitchenette with 2 electric rings and fridge, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the Cala Esmeralda beach In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided five times a week with a change of towels three times each week and bed linen once a week.

Many of the guest facilities at the Inturotel Cala Azul Park Aparthotel are also shared with the nearby Inturotel Esmeralda Park Aparthotel and Inturotel Cala Azul Garden Aparthotel and include a 24-hour reception area with currency exchange services, public internet terminals with Wi-Fi, a games room, an air-conditioned buffet-style restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the complex also offers a large air-conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 60 persons, which comes equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large free-form outdoor swimming pool with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with parasols and loungers. Other leisure facilities shared between the Inturotel Cala Azul Park Aparthotel, Inturotel Esmeralda Park Aparthotel and Inturotel Cala Azul Garden Aparthotel includes a children’s playground and mini-club, along with a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi as well as a mini-golf course and tennis court.

The Inturotel Cala Azul Park Aparthotel also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, which includes regular rifle and pistol shooting, darts, water polo, petanque on the beach and weekly tennis and beach volleyball tournaments, as well as a programme of evening entertainment with a children’s mini-disco which is then followed by either live music cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
