Situated directly by the sandy beach of Es Camp de Mar in southwest Mallorca is the four star Lido Palace Hotel, which underwent complete renovation a few years ago. The hotel offers direct access to the beach. The new 18-hole golf course of Andratx is only five minutes away from the hotel by foot. Further golf courses are located in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is situated only 50 kilometres from the airport, 30 kilometres from Palma and one kilometre Peguera. The centre of the resort with its shops and restaurants is only 300 metres away. Scheduled bus services are available to Port d'Andratx and Peguera. The Lido Palace's facilities include full air-conditioning on all six floors. There is a lift and reception area, non-smoking restaurant, lounge bar with satellite television and internet corner (at a charge). There is an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, sun beds and parasols. Beach towels are available against a deposit. The indoor swimming pool is open between the months of October to May. The hotel provides a breakfast buffet (until 11:00 hours) and half board includes dinner with a buffet of starters and desserts. The main course is served by the table. There is a choice of menus (including vegetarian). Genuine Mallorcan food is served once a week. Men are requested to wear long trousers during dinner. For entertainment, the hotel provides discreet piano music in the evening and shows several times per week. The hotel has a fitness centre with a whirlpool and sauna. The club house of the Andratx golf course is only 200 metres from the hotel. Each of the Lido Palace's 177 rooms has a bathroom, hairdryer, minibar, telephone, satellite television, music channel, central heating, air conditioning, safety deposit box (at an extra charge) and balcony overlooking the sea. Non-smoking rooms and four rooms suitable for disabled visitors are also available.
