The four star Marina Portals Hotel is situated with a view over the Mediterranean in Portals Nous. It is only a few minutes from the marina of Puerto Portals with its cafes, bars and restaurants, 400 metres from the beach and five miles from the centre of Palma. The Marina Portals is surrounded by gardens, has seven floors and was renovated in 2001. Each of the 197 rooms is equipped with bathroom, hair-dryer, telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box, air conditioning, central heating and a balcony. The hotel features a reception, the 'Coral' lounge next to the reception with bar service and television, the 'Marina' lounge which has tables for playing cards and reading newspapers, the 'Acuario' dining room offering a breakfast and dinner buffet service and the 'Neptuno' lounge which is especially for parties and includes bar service, live-music, activities and entertainment.
