The three star Villamarina Club Hotel is situated some 750 metres from the beach in Salou, on the north east coast of Spain, approximately 12 kilometres from Reus Airport and 100 kilometres from Barcelona. The accommodation at the Villamarina Club comprises 189 rooms, each having a private bathroom, with hair dryer and a balcony or terrace. All are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a telephone and a rental safety security box. The facilities at the hotel include a buffet restaurant, a bar with a terrace, a gift shop, a luggage room, laundry service, internet access and currency exchange. There are two swimming pools, surrounded by sun terraces with sun beds, a pool snack bar, a heated poolside jacuzzi, a solarium, a gym and a games room. A programme of daytime and evening entertainment is provided, and guests can take part in various sports and activities, such as rifle shooting, water polo and karaoke (some depend on the season). There are many clubs, bars, restaurants and shops in Salou, and the hotel is only a few minutes by car from the PortAventura theme park and the Caribe Aquatic Park. The hotel is open from May until October.
