The Acapulco Hotel is situated just a few minutes from city centre and close to the beaches of Lloret de Mar. In the entrance of the hotel are the reception, the room for suitcases and the safety deposit boxes. All public areas are air conditioned. The hotel also features a bar, pool tables, internet corner, games room, television lounge, buffet restaurant, two swimming pools, one for children and one for adults, gardens, sun terraces and children's playground. There is bar service to the pool terrace as well as a weekly entertainment programme. The three star Acapulco offers 200 rooms, of which 12 are superior and the rest standard. The standard rooms were renovated in 2002 and offer satellite television, telephone, central heating and bathroom. Most rooms have a balcony. The superior rooms were also renovated in 2002 and offer a terrace, satellite television, central heating, air conditioning and bathroom with hair dryer.
