The three star Hotel Mediterraneo Park is situated some 180 metres from the beach, and 1,000 metres to the centre of Rosas, in the Costa Brava region of the north east coast of Spain, about 60 kilometres from Girona Airport, 160 kilometres north of Barcelona and 30 kilometres from the French border. The accommodation, at the Mediterraneo Park, which was built in 2002, comprises 105 double rooms, each having a fully equipped bathroom (with hair dryer) and a balcony. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating, a telephone, satellite television and a safety security box. The facilities, at the all air conditioned hotel, include a buffet restaurant, with show cooking, a café/bar, laundry service, luggage room, currency exchange, television room and conference rooms. There is a swimming pool, a children's pool and play area, a sun terrace with a bar, a gym, sauna, jacuzzi, mini golf and a games room. Some entertainment is provided including a mini club for the younger children. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in Rosas.
