The three star Hotel Mediterraneo is situated some 180 metres from the beach, and 1,000 metres to the centre of Rosas, in the Costa Brava region of the north east coast of Spain, about 60 kilometres from Girona Airport, 160 kilometres north of Barcelona and 30 kilometres from the French border. The accommodation, at the Mediterraneo, which was renovated in 2001, comprises 130 rooms, each having a fully equipped bathroom and a balcony. All rooms are equipped with heating, a telephone, satellite television and a safety security box. The facilities, at the hotel, include a buffet restaurant, a café/bar, laundry service, and currency exchange. Other facilities are shared with the Hotel Mediterraneo Park, and include a swimming pool, a children's pool and play area, a sun terrace with a bar, a gym, sauna, jacuzzi, mini golf and a games room. Some entertainment is provided including a mini club for the younger children. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in Rosas.
