The three star Prestige Victoria Hotel is situated by the Santa Margarita beach, and a short walk from the centre of Rosas, along the sea front promenade, on the Costa Brava region of the north east coast of Spain, about 60 kilometres from Girona Airport, 160 kilometres north of Barcelona and 30 kilometres from the French border. The accommodation, at the Prestige Victoria, which was renovated in 2000, comprises 208 standard and family rooms and suites, each room having a fully equipped bathroom (with hair dryer) and a balcony. The suites also have a hydro massage tub. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating, a telephone, satellite television, a mini bar and a safety security box. The facilities, at this Prestige hotel, include a buffet restaurant, a terrace cafeteria, a lounge bar, lounges, a television room, a laundry service, luggage room, meeting/conference rooms and currency exchange. There is a swimming pool, a children's pool, a sun terrace, a games room, a fitness room and spa with indoor pool etc., and a garden with direct access to the beach. A programme of daytime and evening entertainment is provided from May until October, including a mini club for the younger children. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in Rosas.
