The five star Hotel Sheraton La Caleta Resort and Spa opened in January 2005 on the sea front in La Caleta, on the south east coast of Tenerife, about 22 kilometres from the Reina Sofia Airport.T he accommodation, at the Sheraton La Caleta Resort and Spa, comprises 284 rooms and suites, each having a bathroom with hairdryer, and being equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a minibar, a coffee machine, a safety deposit box and, for a charge, wi-fi internet access. Rooms are available for disabled guests. The facilities, at the Hotel are as would be expected of a five star establishment and include 24 hour reception, room service, laundry service, a gift shop, a Spanish restaurant with live music, a Japanese restaurant, a buffet and à la carte restaurant, a poolside grill restaurant and a lobby bar.
