The rustic one star Hotel El Sombrerito is situated in the old spa town of Vilaflor, at an altitude of about 1500 meters on the southern slopes of Mount Teide on Tenerife. The accommodation, at the El Somberito, which was built in 1980 and renovated in 2004, comprises 17 double rooms and 3 single rooms, each having a bathroom and some a balcony, and being equipped with heating. The facilities, at the Hotel, include a restaurant , also known as Casa Chico after the owner, serving local and homemade produce, a TV and reading room on the top floor, a solarium on the roof and a museum with antique gramophones, sewing machines etc.
